Not nearly enough cocaine is going into this (literally no cocaine). The flooring is in, just need to get the contours to conform to where I need them to go and make sure nothing is James.
After this is done, and the electrics are somewhat more sorted than they are now, paint. I’m pretty sure whoever repainted the car last either went the Maaco route, or tried to do it in a day; aka cheap. Paints flaking, chipping, and in one case, peeling off in places. This is not worth saving so when the weather warms up, I‘m gonna prep the car and have someone do a better job.
I’ve narrowed it down to four options, with price, quality, and ease of painting in mind. The original color (Dolomite Grey Metallic ), the alternative grey (Slate Grey Metallic), the bluegaloo color (Monaco Blue), and the ‘Murican color (Nightmist Blue Metallic).

If you do not do Monaco Blue now that you have blue carpet I will be deeply disappointed .
Just need blue piping on the seats to really pull it all together

As much as I love that Nightmist Blue, for me it would depend heavily on where you live and whether the A/C works. If it gets hot there and/or you have no A/C, I’d have to go with the Monaco Blue just to keep the cabin temps down. If the A/C works well (or you live where the heat isn’t an issue) I think it would look awesome with Nightmist (and tie in well with the blue carpet ).

I’m planning on redoing the seats next year with premade kits, so no piping unfortunately. But in order of favorites, it’s Monaco Blue, Slate Grey, Nightmist Blue, Dolomite Grey.

That first paragraph made approximately no sense, but otherwise this is very cool progress, looking forward to seeing the chosen paint!
